This project aims to provide veterinarians and pet owners with an efficient, convenient, and highly sensitive diagnostic tool for detecting Helicobacter pylori antigens in dogs, filling a gap in domestic pet gastrointestinal pathogen detection methods. The research and development objective focuses on accurate diagnosis and early intervention. Helicobacter pylori infection has become one of the major causes of chronic gastritis, vomiting, loss of appetite, and other digestive system diseases in dogs. However, traditional detection methods such as tissue biopsy and culture techniques are not only costly and time-consuming but also rely on specialized equipment and trained personnel. The ITGen R&D team has successfully developed this rapid antigen detection product by integrating immunochromatography technology, aiming to quickly screen for Helicobacter pylori infection using fecal samples, thereby enabling early detection, intervention, and treatment of pet diseases.
