ITGen Canine Heartworm Antigen Rapid Test

Canine heartworm disease is caused by heartworms parasitizing the heart and pulmonary arteries of dogs. In severe cases, it can lead to heart failure or even death in dogs. Additionally, the early symptoms of this disease are not obvious, posing challenges for clinical diagnosis. Traditional diagnostic methods are time-consuming, complex to perform, and unable to meet the rapid testing needs of veterinary clinics and clinical settings. In response, ITGen launched the Canine Heartworm Antigen Rapid Test project, aiming to develop a fast, sensitive, and easy-to-use diagnostic tool to assist veterinarians in promptly identifying infected cases and achieving early diagnosis and treatment. Suitable for on-site rapid testing, it does not require complex equipment and is easy to operate; non-professionals can perform the test independently after simple training. Sampling requires only a blood sample from the dog, and the entire testing process is completed quickly, enabling veterinarians to obtain test results immediately in various settings such as clinical settings, animal shelters, or pet clinics.
