Sabervet Feline Panleukopenia Virus Antigen Rapid Test

The SaberVet Feline Panleukopenia Virus Antigen Rapid Test (FPV Ag) is a high-accuracy lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of FPV antigen in fresh feline feces or rectal swab samples. Feline panleukopenia (also called feline distemper or feline parvovirus) is a highly contagious and often fatal disease in cats, particularly in kittens and unvaccinated animals. Rapid antigen detection with the SaberVet FPV Ag test enables immediate clinical decisions. The test achieves 98.00% diagnostic sensitivity and 97.50% specificity, validated against PCR, with a total agreement of 97.71%. Results are available in 5–10 minutes. The kit includes test devices, swabs, buffer tubes, workstation, and package insert. Collect fresh feces or use a rectal swab, rotate in buffer more than 10 times, and apply three drops to the cassette. The SaberVet FPV Ag test device is stored at 4–30°C, away from light.
